The much anticipated film takes place 22 years after the first Jurassic Park, when theme park attendance is declining and the park creates a new attraction hoping to bring in new business. It backfires, of course.
Mad Max: Fury Road: May 15
"Two man enter, one man leaves." Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron star in the fourth installment of the Mad Max series, directed by George Miller. The pair wander through a wasteland trying to escape a savage warlord with a band of fugitives.
Spectre : Nov 6
The 24th James Bond installment comes out this year, and Daniel Craig continues to play Bond and break hearts. A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization.
50 Shades of Grey : Feb 13
The widely popular book series makes its debut this year right before Valentines Day. The dominant Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) meets the virginal Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and, well, you know what happens next.
Ted 2 : June 26
The sequel to the raunchy comedy stars Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman, as well as Mark Wahlberg and the sassy bear we all know and love. Seth McFarlane has done a pretty good job at keeping the plot under wraps, so it should make for an interesting story.
Terminator: Genisys: July 1
Arnold is back in the latest installment of the Terminator franchise, and is joined by Jai Courtney, who discovers that she has been raised as a warrior by a Terminator guardian in an alternate timeline.
Entourage: June 5
Just because the show's over, doesn't mean the guys who run Hollywood are done. They're back in a motion picture including Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, and Kevin Connelly.
Avengers: Age of Ultron: May 1
The powerful superheroes are back, and the team is put to the test when the fate of Earth hangs on a thread. They battle Ultron, a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction.
Furious 7 : April 3
After the untimely death of Paul Walker, filming was delayed on the next installment of the Fast and the Furious series. However, with the help of CGI and Walker’s brothers as stand-ins, the movie was completed.
Ant-Man: July 17
The next Marvel superhero, played by Paul Rudd, makes his big screen debut as a man armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength.
Silence : Tentative November release date
Martin Scorsese adapts a 17th century Japanese novel about priests who endure violence while trying to spread their religion in Japan. Stars include Liam Neeson, Andrew Garfield, and Adam Driver.
Straight Outta Compton:
Rap group N.W.A. hits the big screen in the upcoming biopic centered around the rise and fall of the members of the group: Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella.
Crimson Peak : Oct 13
Guillermo Del Toro directs his latest film which is a horror movie centered around a woman who discovers her husband isn’t exactly whom he appears to be.
Everest: Sept 18
Jake Gyllenhaal and Keira Knightley star in a drama centering around a snowstorm that hits the world’s tallest mountain. It’s should be pretty legitimate since the cast and crew avoided a deadly avalanche during the shoot.
Elvis & Nixon: release date TBA
Kevin Spacey hits the White House as Nixon and Michael Shannon shakes his hips as Elvis in this film directed by Liza Johnson. The movie centers around the famous meeting between the two notorious figures.
